12-16-13 Hello, this is my page about my office, staff and family. I am no longer the Chairman of our Ob-Gyn Department at Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton. This is after six years of Chairmanship, time for someone else to do it. Also, the last time I checked, I have the lowest initial C-section rate at Baylor Carrollton. I recently had 35 vaginal deliveries in a row without a cesarean section and finally today had to do a cesarean section on an old patient's daughter. I was disappointed and they were too, but it needed to be done. We have a great staff and administration here that are totally focused on quality in medical care. I could not have done this amazing run of vaginal deliveries without their support. As you know, Trinity Medical Center is now Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton (BMCC). We serve the needs of Carrollton, Lewisville, The Colony, Farmers Branch, Plano and Flower Mound. I am now a grandfather! This is our little Amelia.
She is now almost six months old and she is a happy child. Her smile lights up the room. I had trouble picking a picture because we have so many. I will
probably just put on a new one every now and then; check back to see her growing! Next down is my new little baby "Star." She is a Vizsla and
now 18 months old. She is a very high energy dog and she is keeping me in shape. We did obedience classes together and she achieved the AKC Canine Good Citizen Title. I am now in classes to do
Agility dog sport with her. Next down on the left is me and my oldest daughter Rebecca. These are the last private words I said to my little girl before she became another man's wife. I advise all Dads to take this opportunity to tell your child of your love. They will remember it the rest of their lives. Becks is a registered massage therapist at a Hiatus spa and recently got her BA in Business at UNT. Then on the right is my daughter Erin and me, she married less than a year before. (An expensive year!) Erin graduated Austin College with a Master of Arts in Education and she is teaching 4th grade here in the Metroplex. The next picture below is me as a young doctor in 1987. This may be my first baby that I delivered in Carrollton. Then my "Amazon Lily" that has been in my office for 23 years is blooming again. "Never go to a doctor whose office plants have died" Erma Bombeck On the bottom is an essay I wrote in 1964 predicting my future, Mom found it in a trunk with my drawings of dinosaurs. Nickie is still my office manager of more than five years. She has now been my wife and advisor for over 34 years. I have a family practice. My receptionist, Francis, has been with me for more than 7 years, she is helping me with my hobby of learning Spanish fluently. After six years with me, Misty has moved to Abilene to be a homemaker. My new medical assistant is Zandra. She has years of Ob-Gyn experience and she is fitting in here wonderfully. You will love her. Great wife, great staff and great kids! I am now doing laparoscopic hysterectomies. As a Gynecologist it is exciting to see my patients home the next day and back to their lifes in a week with only three little tummy scars. Testimonial of Felisha C. "I went back to the office only a week after my hysterectomy. I couldn't believe it and neither could those around me!" I am also doing in-office surgery: NovaSure endometrial ablations and Essures (a sterilization done with plugs put in the tube from inside the uterus). Formally a hospital procedure, now done for just a co-payment! This is now the seventeenth installment of this page. I redecorated my office decor and my new lobby has a wood floor and wool Asian rugs. I have new wall to wall carpet in my back office and fresh paint all around. Friends and patients, I hope you enjoy my Internet efforts. I do this site myself. Google or Yahoo "Ob-Gyn Carrollton Tx". For my solo practice to have such visibility is remarkable. I must have favor. Page seven of this site has the articles I wrote for the Metrocrest News, my newsletter and all of my handouts, as well as links to various organizations. |

My 23 year old office Amazon Orchid in bloom. I think she likes to listen to everything going on in my office.

This was written by me in fourth grade after a stay in the hospital. A big window box fell on top of me.
